Zusammenfassung

Die Phäochromocytome, Tumoren des Nebennierenmarks bzw. des extraadrenalen, chromaffinen Gewebes, enthalten Adrenalin oder Arterenol oder beides gemeinsam, die, schubweise in die Blutbahn geworfen, zu paroxysmalen hypertonischen Krisen führen. Das Krankheitsbild der Phäochromocytome hat gerichtsmedizinisch große Bedeutung, weil es sehr häufig zu „plötzlichen Todesfällen aus natürlicher Ursache” führt.
