Conclusions

1.
The ÉI827 alloy, in the state investigated, has good mechanical properties at very low temperatures (down to the temperature of liquid hydrogen). Along with a relatively high strength (about 140 kg/mm2 at −253°C) it has high ductility: δ=47%, ψ=40%. The ductility remains unchanged between +20 and −253°C.

2.
Deformation at room temperature leads to deformational aging. The amount of the excess phase (apparently Ni, Al) increases by 3%. At the temperatures of boiling liquid nitrogen and hydrogen there is no deformational aging.
