Optical resolution of helical and planarchiral metacyclophanes by high performance liquid chromatography on (+)-poly(triphenylmethyl-methacrylate)

Racemic helical and planarchiral ten-membered metacyclophanes1 to 7 are efficiently resolved into the enantiomers using high performance liquid chromatography on (+)-poly(triphenylmethyl-methacrylate).
