The abnormality of carburized electrolytic iron

Conclusion

The abnormality of case hardened electrolytic iron can be reduced by lowering the original hardness of the coating, by recrystallization annealing, by attaining the eutectoid carbon concentration, and by increasing the cooling rate after case hardening.
