Spectral analysis of complex gas mixtures by isotope dilution. Part I. Determination of hydrogen

  • Published:
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy Aims and scope

Abstract

A description is given of a method of determining hydrogen content in mixtures containing H2, N2, O2, and CO2 in any ratios. The addition of a large proportion of helium suppresses the effects of composition in the intensity ratio for the ß lines of hydrogen and deuterium.
