Abstract
Some effects of reflectivity variation are examined. Some defects on the reflecting faces are found to affect mainly components with the E vector perpendicular to the lines; they reduce the peak intensity and distort the distribution curve by emphasizing Wood ghosts. The detailed nature of the effects is discussed.
