Software for calculating orbit and mass of visual binaries

Abstract

This paper presents an overview on the software that will be used at the Bosscha Observatory of Indonesia for calculating the orbit and mass of visual binary system. The programme is based on the Thiele-van den Bos methods. The algorithm is designed for elliptic motions and applicable to personal computer.
