Conclusions

  1. 1.

    It was established that the basic type of plastic deformation of titanium and titanium alloys at low temperatures is twinning, increasingly so as the temperature is reduced.

     
  2. 2.

    The most promising (of those investigated) as structural materials for cryogenic technology are α-solid solution titanium alloys.
