Abstract

A model of superconducting junctions with linear-periodic current-phase relation is examined, including the response to microwave radiation. An analytic expression is found for the ac voltage across the irradiated junction. The dc current-voltage characteristic exhibits harmonic and subharmonic constant-voltage steps. A simple electric circuit is found which simulates the properties of the junction.
