Singular behavior of the mass conductivity of liquid4He in a superleak at the superfluid transition

From measurements of the damping of sound in liquid 4 He caused by fluid penetration into a porous medium at the superfluid transitionTλs, we have deduced a critical temperature dependence of the mass conductivity σ of the form σ (T−T λs ) −0.31±0.03
