Abstract
The heat capacity of Ne-para-H2 solid solutions has been investigated for Ne concentrations of 2.04 and 0.53 molar % in the 2–6 K temperature range. The experimentally observed abnormal increase in heat capacity due to heavy impurities present in the lattice differs significantly from the predictions of the harmonic approximation theory.
