Structure and wear resistance on steel G13L

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Heat treatment of steel G13L consisting of double annealing with subsequent water quenching provides a uniform distribution of spheroidal carbides, which results in high mechanical properties.

     
  2. 2.

    This structure increases the service life of G13L parts (the wear resistance increases 50%).
