Abstract
The anomalous behavior of the temperature curve of flow stresses in a low-temperature range down to 1.4 K was studied on aluminum single crystals of various purities and orientations of the tensile axis. The increase of purity brings about the appearance and increase of a temperature dependence anomaly. Similar phenomena are observed on polycrystals of identical purities. The results obtained are compared with various theoretical concepts associating flow stress anomalies at low temperatures with the dynamic behavior of dislocations.
