Conclusions

  1. 1.

We determined the effect of alloying with molybdenum on the mechanical properties of titanium alloys after different heat treatment conditions established in relation to the α⇌β transformation temperature.

  2. 2.

The sensitivity to overheating (reduction of the strength and especially the plasticity) increases with the molybdenum concentration. In the thermally strengthened condition the sensitivity to overheating is greater than in the annealed condition.
