Abstract
Ground-state energy of solid3He was computed by a Monte Carlo procedure in which the correlation parameter for nearest neighbor pairs was assigned different values from that for more distant pairs. This results in a ground-state energy which is lower by about 0.5 K than the value obtained with a single correlation parameter.
