Orbital modes in superfluid3He

Abstract

The equation describing the rotation of the orbital coordinate in superfluid3He is obtained. It is shown that the orbital modes obey a diffusion-like equation with a finite energy gap. The transient behavior of the\(\hat l\) vector in the A phase after thed vector is suddenly rotated is considered.
