Effect of reduction in cold rolling on the texture of sheet steel 08Yu

Conclusions

The highest drawability of sheet steel reduced 70% in rolling results from the large [111] component, since cold plastic deformation occurs with displacement of individual sections of the crystal in planes and directions most densely filled with atoms.
