Ultrasonic vibrations applied to the sample during isothermal transformation have different effects on the phase transformations in the pearlitic and bainitic regions.

Ultrasonic vibration has opposite effects on steels with and without nickel.

In steels 30KhGSNA and 30KhGSA ultrasonic vibration induces more complete transformation of austenite in the bainitic region.
