Statistical arguments for asteroidal jet streams

Abstract

The distribution of asteroid orbits in space is studied and a detailed investigation for Hirayama's Flora family is presented. Some tendencies to (5-dimensional) clustering are found by means of comparing actual with random distribution simulated on a computer.
