Conclusions

  1. 1.

We investigated the effect of Cu, Zn, Ag, Mg, Ce, Nd, misch metal, Mn, Cr, Ti, and Zr on the recrystallization temperature of aluminum foil with a thickness of 20 μ. Recrystallization processes were inhibited most effectively by Zr, Mn, Ti, and Cr.

  2. 2.

Recrystallization occurs considerably more rapidly in foil than in bulk material of the same composition, which is due to the characteristics of the fine structure.
