Conclusions
-
1.
After nitrocementation of steel 14Kh GSN2MA the contact strength, wear resistance, hear resistance, and ductility are higher than after gas carburizing.
-
2.
With these chemicothermal treatments the strength and ductile characteristics are optimal after tempering at 230°C.
-
3.
Quenching without the use of a protective atmosphere after nitrocementation and carburizing results in decarburizing.
