Abstract
The possibility of association of QSOs with both field galaxies and cluster galaxies is statistically analysed. The data of QSOs used are those in the −40° zone of CTIO Curtis Schmidt Survey and those in the Virgo cluster region. It is suggested from the results obtained that the possibility of general association of QSOs with bright cluster galaxies is statistically significant, but there is no evidence of general association of QSOs with field galaxies.
