1.
The recrystallization of an alloy with 43% Co begins at 650°C. Grains of a size of 1–2 μ were observed under the microscope after annealing for 6 hrs. The most vigorous grain growth occurred at 710–730°C. The growth ceased at 750–860°C.

2.
The activition energy for recrystallization of the 83% cold-worked Fe-Co alloy with 43% Co for temperatures above 675°C was 67 kcal/g-at.
-
3.
To study the recrystallization process proper, optical microscopy proved more sensitive than X-rays.
