Abstract

On the basis of theOrion-2 observational data it is shown that the ratio of the intensities of absorption lines 2905 (2904–2906) Siii and 2932 (2928–2936) Mgii varies strongly when we pass from B0 stars to A0. This circumstance may be used as a sensitive indicator for the determination of the effective temperatures of hot stars.
