Tunnel effect in molecules in strong magnetic fields of neutron stars

Abstract

It is shown that, in the strong magnetic field of the neutron starB=1012−1013 G, the probability of the tunnel effect in the molecules increases significantly. It is quite probable that this effect can catalyze nuclear reactions at the neutron star surface.
