The gas to dust ratio in NGC 6523

Abstract

On the basis of an electron density distribution deduced from radio-observations, the gas to dust ratio in NGC 6523 is determined, and found to be constant throughout the nebula. The results are in agreement with the observations made by O'Dellet al. (1966).
