Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Repeated deformation with 30% final deformation and subrecrystallization annealing at 550°C produces the best combination of strength, plasticity, and cavitation resistance of steel Kh18N10T.

  2. 2.

Repeated deformation can be recommended for manufacturing parts of steel Kh18N10T.
