Conclusions
Microzinc, a zinc alloy with small additions of magnesium (∼0.05%) and aluminum (∼0.10%), is hardened by quenching with rapid cooling from 200o and higher. This phase transformation is not visible in the microstructure due to the high dispersity of the particles of excess phase.
