Conclusions

  1. 1.

The best billets from the viewpoint of compression stresses and mechanical properties of the pipes are cast billets of the AD1, AMg, and AV alloys and also the compressed and annealed D1 alloy.

  2. 2.

We showed the possibility of decreasing the heating time to quenching temperatures from 30 to 10 min in the case of pipes of the AV alloy.
