Abstract
A method is described to calculate theX-,Y-, andH-matrices for molecular scattering in a homogeneous plane-parallel atmosphere. This method is based on the method of discrete ordinates by Chandrasekhar. A sample of results in 7 decimals is given and the accuracy of the method presented is discussed.
