Constant-mass sequences of differentially-rotating polytropes

Abstract

In this paper, differentially-rotating polytropic constant-mass sequences are compated by implementation of the so-called ‘constant units technique’. Then, numerical results concerning such constant-mass sequences are compared with their respective values obtained when corresponding constant-centraldensity sequences are computed.
