Abstract
This not new problem is analysed in view of discrepancies met in the literature. Practical formulae for calculation of the signal-to-noise ratio losses caused by quantization of the lobe rotation function in digital VLBI correlators are derived. Examples are given for a few simpler rotation schemes.
