Abstract
Three spectrograms of the cepheid Alpha Ursae Minoris (Polaris) taken at a dispersion of 17.8 Å mm−1 on 18, 19, and 20 January, 1971 have been analysed for the determination of the abundances of some elements. The analysis shows that the abundances of metals in the atmosphere of Polaris is similar to the Sun.
