Similarity solution for unsteady accretion flow

Abstract

Similarity solution for unsteady accretion flow in a gravitational field of a point mass is obtained. Characteristic features of the flow pattern are discussed. It is shown that the shock waves appeared in the accretion flow propagate outward asr s t2/3.
