Abstract

The bending of a beam of radiation normally incident on an anisotropic cold plasma moving transversely is calculated. There are generally two emergent beams-refracted by different amounts-which may be of both signs, depending on the parameters. As was previously found for an isotropic plasma, the bending is generally small except in a few particular cases.
