Implosive and re-explosive shock wave in magnetohydrodynamics

Abstract

The present Letter deals with the problem of implosive and re-explosive shock wave in magnetohydrodynamics. A self-similar solution has been obtained neglecting thermal conduction and assuming a linear profile of the plasma velocity.
