Abstract

Some spectroscopic characteristics of twenty-six K stars, in the region 4500–7500 Å, have been studied. The observations were recorded on 52 cm and 104 cm reflecting telescopes at the State Observatory, Naini Tal, India. The telescopes were coupled with spectrum scanner which consisted of plane diffraction grating. The frequencies have been noted and their probable assignments have been given. From these assignments, the probable model of K stars has been concluded.
