Abstract
The nonlinear theory of electromagnetic modes in the radio frequency range, excited from a system consisting of two contra-streaming electron beams, supports the experimental observation that out of\(\omega \sim (n + \tfrac{1}{2})\omega _{ce} ,\omega = \tfrac{3}{2}\omega _{ce} \) is the most prominent mode.
