Abstract
Transmission experiments on the radio-frequency size effect (RFSE) are described, from which the temperature-dependent part of the mean free path as well as its absolute value are determined. A comparison is given with the results of Gantmakher and Sharvin on the limiting point-size effect and on the parallel RFSE. The experiments were done on a hollow box of which a part of the upper side was a pure metal sheet of tin.
