Abstract

A definite correlation between the thermal and electronic properties of Y1Ba2Cu x O y perovskite materials has been observed using differential thermal analysis (DTA) and X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XFS). The compound Y1Ba2Cu3O7−z shows anomalous transition enthalpy and copper-oxygen hybridization with respect to other compounds with different copper content.
