Abstract

Surface photovoltage as well as surface photoconductivity response on the light intensity under sub-bandgap illumination is treated. The influence of the surface barrier height, the density of surface traps, the bulk electron density as well the temperature on the surface photovoltage (surface photoconductivity) is analysed. The detectability conditions are included. The consequences of detectability conditions are discussed.
