A study of the atomic absorption spectra of an electrical discharge with spatially separate radiating and absorbing layers

Abstract

A simple procedure for obtaining atomic absorption spectra by means of a pulse discharge is described. The possibility of practical application of the results in spectral analysis and in the determination of relative oscillator strengths in a multiplet is discussed.
