The nonstationary generation process in a laser with a matted ruby

Abstract

The effect of the pumping energy and of the distance between the interferometer mirrors upon the rise time, the pulse period, and the loss coefficient of a laser with a matted ruby is considered. The experimental results are compared with theoretical calculations.
