Thermochemical reactions with powderized carbon in emission spectral analysis

  • Published:
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy Aims and scope

Abstract

The thermochemical reactions occurring during diluting of samples with carbon powder are discussed. Isobaric potentials of possible reactions are presented. It is shown that fractional distillation of the vapors of admixtures and matrix does not always occur.
