Summary
In agreement with previous investigations contact sensitization to DNCB dissolved in aceton a minimum exposure time of 12 h and a maximum time of 32h was found. In a further study using a total of 113 animals DMSO instead of aceton was used. The minimum time of contact was shortened to 6 h and the maximum time to 24 h. The possible mechanism of this influence on the time of contact is discussed.
