Conclusions

From the seeds ofCoronilla scorpioides (L.) Koch. a new cardenolide glycoside has been obtained which has been called scorpioside and which has the structure of 3-β-(β-D-glucofuranosyloxy)-5, 14β-dihydroxy-19-oxo-5β-card-20(22)-enolide.
