Treatment of postoperative duodenal fistulae by transparietal abdominal endoscopic intubation

Summary

A new way of treating postoperative fistulae without surgery is described in patients who underwent elective intubation of fistulae. This procedure permitted fast closure of the fistulae and a return to a hypercaloric diet which facilitated healing of the wounds.
