The new illegitimaticy laws handled in the German parliament require convincing clarification of the paternity. Legal and biological paternity should be now as much the same as possible. Some weaker arguments against the charge of fatherhood from statistical evaluation of gynaecological and serological findings and anthropological evidence should also be considered. The positive proof of fatherhood comes from biostatistical evaluation of serological findings and anthropological evidence. The methods applicable at this time for obtaining decision on disputed paternity including biostatical evaluation, make it possible to give a positive or negative indication in most of the cases.
