Influence of some glycemia-affecting factors on acute (Conditioned) cutaneous necrosis

  • Published:
Archiv für dermatologische Forschung Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Acute conditioned skin necrosis in rats, induced by systemic administration of dextran and local injection of a normally well-tolerated dosis of dilute acetic acid, can be inhibited by pretreatment with glucose of alloxan. This condition can be aggravated by fasting or insulin.
