Conclusions
1. It has been shown that the physical and mechanical properties of individual fibres over the cross section of a yarn follow normal distribution laws and that there is direct correlation between the tenacity (strength) values and elongation at break.
2. It has been established that non-uniformity in properties of individual fibres over the cross section of a yarn is conditioned to a larger degree by the construction of the spinneret than by the rate of the flow in the coagulating bath.
